Mazda Anniversary Editions of Axela and Biante in Japan

The Mazda Axela 90th Anniversary Special Edition is based on the four Axela grades that come with i-stop. It will be the first Mazda in the Japanese market with the exclusive exterior body color, Gunmetal Blue Mica. The Mazda Biante i-stop Smart Edition, also launched to celebrate Mazda’s 90th birthday, is based on the 20CS model grade. Its features include i-stop, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and Mazda’s Advanced Keyless Entry System.

- A separate recycling fee is necessary in addition to the manufacturer’s suggested retail prices listed above. (Sport 20C: 13,190 yen, 20S: 13,740 yen, Sedan 20C: 12,670 yen, 20E: 13,220 yen)

Mazda Biante 90th Anniversary Special Edition ‘i-stop Smart Edition’

- A separate recycling fee of 14,590 yen is necessary in addition to the manufacturer’s suggested retail prices listed above.

- The exterior body color range consists of six colors. If the special body color Crystal White Pearl Mica is selected, the price increases by 31,500 yen (including tax).

Mazda prepares model RX-9

According to the French edition Automobile-Magazine, company Mazda has begun work on a new coupe with rotor engine which will receive name RX-9. For the present it is not absolutely clear, this model in the stead present RX-8 will come or will stand on a step above, however, one clearly absolutely precisely – under cowl RX-9 will appear rotor engine.

Already all manufacturers of passenger cars have refused release rotor motors – too difficult and expensively. But Mazda still keeps on a rotor, the truth, such units now put only on RX-8. But it is not excluded that soon will appear also rotor RX-9 which become hardly more and more comfortably RX-8. It is expected that the premiere of new model will take place in 2012.

NYIAS-2009: Mazda CX-9



At stand Mazda of the international motor show in New York updated crossover CX-9 near to freshened up model CX-7 and car MAZDA SPEED3 more known in Europe, as Mazda3 MPS is presented. As well as other new models Mazda, crossover CX-9 the modernised bumper with an original "smiling" air intake has received, others rear and the head lights, modified radiator lattice.




From "new things" it is necessary to allocate and occurrence of new light-alloy disks by dimension of 18 and 20 inches. In interior it is possible to note the following set of changes: more a wide choice of materials of furnish, black mouldings on a steering wheel and the central extension housing to which also there were small metamorphoses. Under a cowl the crossover still had former 3.7 l engine V6 working together with a 6-step automatic gear box, writes Leftlanenews. Sales of updated crossover Mazda CX-9 will begin summer of this year.
